I called you today

I called you all today, because I learnt to call upon you
When I struggle to stand alone outcomes I deem unjust
When I need to be reassured- you dare stand by me
When I feel thrown out, abandoned mid-way to freedom

I called you all today because you understand why
Sympathy and respect, an urging face to stand and a smile
Would keep me nearer to myself, my cause, and you all
So now-my-boys-dream would not end to pieces and fall

I called you all today because I know when my heart tells me so
You all stand by me because you know
It's worth to help someone be.
(That's what you taught me to believe)

I called you all today because I dreamt last night of you all
You- the catalyst of my inner state of mind, and my soul
The nourishment of my strength, my holding hand
My dearest friends-standing my daring times…

Unë pata harruar që Parajsa i mban dyert hapur Tërë vitin Parajsa i mbaka dyert hapur Por ju s’patët menduar të trokisnit në këto dyer kaq herët Ju trokitët në dyert e Parajsës – ju nuk patët nevojë Parajsa e dinte cilat ishit ju – por ju ishit shumë herët… Mami, babi, motra dhe vëllai – zemërplasur Ju hidhni sytë poshtë – ju nuk e kuptoni pse jeni aty lart Shoqet e dhomës me lotë në sy, hedhin sytë lart nga ju Ato s’ju shohin dot – zemrat dhe lotët e tyre tregojnë historitë tuaja Zemrat dhe lotët e tyre i tregojnë   Parajsës historitë tuaja Nënat dhe motrat dhe shokët dhe shoqet   – lotët – rrëke në sy… Ato s’përmbahen dot -   pse duhet të përmbahen ato? Pse thonë këta njerëz : “Bëhuni të forta!”? Ç’është kjo aura e zbehtë varur në këto fytyra prindërish? Pse kanë heshtur këta burra;…dhe ata lotë që harrojnë Se këta janë sy burrash…? I’d forgotten heavens keep their doors open all year round – heavens keep their doors open and you hadn’t thought to knock on those doors so soon you knocked on the heavens doors… you needn’t , yet– heavens knew who you were they saw your mum and dad, sister and brother- heartbroken you look down – you don’t know what you’re doing up there your flatmates look up at you in tears they can’t see you – their hearts and tears tell your story their hearts and tears tell your story to the heavens… your sister and mother let their tears become a sip they needn’t get a grip, they needn’t a grip What is it that they’ve been told to be strong? What is this dark aura hanging on those fathers’ faces? Why do those men just look, and that tear - forgetting That those are men’s eyes?
